STAY AWAY FROM MITSUBISHI ESPECIALLY NOW WITH THE PHONY REBATE. I HAD THE 52 INCH FOR 4 MONYTHS AND THEY NEVER CAME TO THE HOUSE TO FIX THE NEW TV. THE ALSO HAVE THE $1000 GROCERY REBATE THAT IS BANKRUPT. THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU OR ANYONE ELSE $1000 SO STAY AWAY FROM MITSUBISHI AND GO WITH HATACHI WITH 2 WEEK GUIDE AND WORKS GREAT. JUST TRY AND CALL MITSUBISHI AS THEY DO NOT RETURN CALLS AND ARE ALL FORIEGNERS. VERY POOR...I JUST WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW. CALL MITSUBISHI at 18003322119. VERY POOR SYSTEM...STAY AWAY

Good picture and good sound are not enough
Strengths: Good picture, good sound
Weakness: Not user friendly, Manual has 95 pages. Changing channels with remote is very S-l-o-w---.
Never got the Electronic Program guide to work, even after calling tech support level one and level two. So for EPG I had to resort to adding a cable box (at a monthly fee).
When using remote control to change channel, (without cable box) the new channel number is displayed for a few seconds, then the picture blanks out for a full second, then the new channel comes on. Consecutive punches of channel up or channel down are ignored until the cycle is complete.
