Strengths: Great screen size. Sound is okay without surround, (although we will be hooking it up shortly...) HD is beautiful. Very light weight/easy to move. Hook up was a breeze.
Weakness: None so far.
Love, Love, Love this TV. Was skeptical ordering via internet, but I have to say that this was the best deal for 1388 for a 67" by far to anything we could find in stores. Even for me (electronically challenged), hook up took less than 5 minutes! This TV weighs less than my 32" I just replaced it with. No problems so far...will keep posting if anything arises. Overall, great TV for size and price point.

Wow, that is the most common response from friends and family when they first see it. then where can i get one.
i got in on the great deal of 1388 for the tv/stand/cleaning kit/free delivery. my local bestbuy has the same ty, 2499, the stand is 299. cleaning kit 29. hmm. 2826 + 7.5 tax would have brought this up to near or over 3K. so i got it for over 50% off. thank you 6th ave. and i love having a full hd mini theater in my home. awesome.

i got this tv with the custom tv stand + screen cleaning kit right after xmas for $1388 ... the pic is as good as anything out there ... better then most lcd + plasmas except for the high end ones that are $2500 - $5000 ... and its 67 inches !!!!!!! nobody has a pic this good in a size this big ... the mitsu. dlp cannot compare to the samsung in pic quality ... this model with the bulb has a better pic then the 750 series with the led light engine ... i compared them sideby side at CC ... the colors were true + more clear then the 750 series ... this 67a510 also is the only bulb model with 10,000 to 1 contrast ratio ... the bulb based 650 series for this year lowered the con. ratio to 2500 to 1 ... some people complain the sound is weak ... but if u boost up the settings for bass , treble , surround sound + the EQualizer it is more then adaquate ... if u want good surround get a system ... the stand is sweet + matches the tv perfectly... and did i say ... its 67 inches ... all this for $1388 ... its insane ... i cant believe there are any left ... thank u 6ave

Weakness: The cooling fan noise is noticeable. You can hear the noise even 10' way. Lamp replacement.
With LED technology, 40% brighter than this one and no noise.
You pay upfront $600 and worry not about and how to replace the lamp every year $200 each.

Weakness: bright images displayed on the textured screen shows minute prism-like artifacts close-up, like someone sneezed on the screen; dumbed-down aspect ratio choices aren't always appropriate for the source
This TV is sexy. No longer will your friends with their cute little 42" plasmas have bragging rights when they walk anywhere within a half mile of your house and see this baby towering over your den, casting its sweet, sweet iridescent glow on your socks. Guess where the Super Bowl party will be? Not at my friend Tom's house with his crappy little 61" TV, that's for sure.
Did you know that Lightning McQueen's paint job had tiny sparkly metal flecks? Neither did I, till I got this TV.
This television inspired me to convert my desktop computer into a home theater PC. It would be nice if the TV had a DVI input, but DVI - VGA adapters are easy enough to come by, and a VGA cable still provides perfect detail and clarity. (If you can, use a VGA cable rather than an HDMI to DVI cable. Quality's much better over VGA.)
The remote control is nothing special. I strongly recommend picking up a Logitech Harmony remote of some sort, especially if you have an external sound system or more than a couple of devices plugged into your TV.

I was totally amazed at the quality of the picture when I got it home. Live sports in HD, Blue-Ray DVDs are incredible on this set. I have never seen an HDTV of this quality anywhere else; it looks as if I could step into the scene as if viewing it through an open window. Very glad I didn't buy a DLP projector instead. The only way to improve on this picture will be to wait for the HDTV cameras to get better.
The sound quality was an unexpected bonus. Very bright picture even with all the room lights on and the drapes open.

Weakness: AV component has weak image quality
I have had this TV for 3 months and could not be happier. No one can really describe how big this unit is because it looks even bigger in person. I tell people that I have a 67" DLP and they are awed, when they see it, they are amazed at how big it is.
I have a PS3 with HDMI connections and I am baffled at the picture quality for the price I paid. I especially enjoy the fact that if the bulb goes out, I pay upwards of $200 to replace it instead of $4000 for a new TV.
The DLP is very light. It says 80 lbs, but doesn't feel like it.
The only downside is the fact that I have seen it run in HD and have my cable set up on AV. Man there is a HUGE difference in quality. Oh, well, HD FTW!!

I bought this TV to connect it to a Home Theather PC (HTPC) I just built and it works great. I used my HTPC's HDMI output to connect it to the TV, tried in all three HDMI inputs in the TV and they all worked. The image quality is outstanding when hooking it up to a PC. It looks just as good as an LCD or Plasma. The black finish in the TV looks very nice. Overall, highly recommended.

Strengths: Superb Picture/ Easy Set-up
Weakness: No Picture in Picture or 3D gaming feature....No biggie though.
I love this TV. All Sources look great. Great price and quality. Much better picture than the Samsung LED 67 inch and way better than Mitsubishi's big Guys. I only wish it had picture in picture and the 3D gaming option but other than that this TV is perfect.
